I LOVE THIS about the market...........

BY TRO:

PRICE ACTION

"Now, 2 patterns of market behavior happen on a regular basis:

1) the price breaks to new high's (or low's)

2) the price reverses from new high's (or low's)

They happen regardless of time frame (with the obvious limitations explained above)

They are phenomena that can be exploited without the fear if found out by others, that they might cease to exist." - H. Rearden

1) Price will either breakout of the high, low or both of the previous bar

2) Price will not breakout of the previous bar.

You cannot reduce it any further.

Anything else complicates the issue.

KEEP IT SIMPLE.

I've been extremely gun shy this week for some reason.

Yesterday I was -20 pips and stopped.
Today -10 but account up over 2%.
Hmmmm

If I can get a 40-50 pips better price than I originally wanted, why not go for it??

Limiting myself to 8 live trades a day.
I can take them in 20 min. or 20 hrs.

Here's 8 from today.

Hey keep up the good work and don't give up.

Most people would of given up by now but not you. One day it will "CLICK" and you will be in the 5% group of forex traders that "gets it".

Keep in mind that Forex trading is not easy for a reason. If it was then every Tom, Dick, and Harry would do it instead of driving to work everyday to put out.

So remember trading the Forex is very hard and that's a GOOD thing. If it was easy then the market wouldn't exist.

So just keep on trading.

Thx for the reminder kenyuki,

I will separate the trades in the future.....if I exit partials it makes it look like more entries than I've actually taken.

I took one extra today during news because it was easy pips on the break.

2 trades london,
The first I put out a feeler, added some, and then finalized the full position when price started to move.
Exited with the profit I desired.

Second trade below I also took on demo to see how the two would come out differently. Got 9.7 live and 19ish on demo.

A Rat Trade, see pic.

GBP/USD 1 S 1.65291 1.65194 9.7 0.97 0.00 10/22/2009 05:19 10/22/2009 05:23

As a side note, could this be the makings of a largest correction that does not return to the extreme?? 5m time frame.

Go green rats go, go green rats go........

I took this trade based on a m5 candlestick pattern.

Image

#1 is a dark cloud cover. It created a resistance zone and is only effective AFTER a trend. (background)
#2 is where I entered when price entered the zone on the big green up bar. Stop could be set at 3-5 pips. Priced ended up making a bearish engulfing pattern.....resistance level strengthening.
#3 was another dark cloud cover, price could not break resistance, see the resultant drop?

Image

Some may want to call it an H4 MightyZone trade.
See the held profit at the purple line?
See the profit holders get zeroed?

Image

More than one way to skin the same cat!! Kinda like we did in A&P class.
eeewwww.

LOL

I'm looking for a new currency pair to trade being the margin requirements are changing........I sat down and opened this chart and Immediately hit the BUY button.
Didn't realize it was a 5 pip spread. Doh.
That's not to snappy as slow as U/J moves.

See what I mean.

Opened this chart and saw price flailing about......see the weekly and daily high's???
I entered Immediately even though it was late to the party.
If price breaks the 00's, we be going down town....... "double top valley break"...... Another system????? LOL

Someone might call it a Rat Reverse......
