jal, each box is a price & that means that horizontal S&R lines are drawn through the middle of a box; either the last O is support or the price under it.

Thanks MO ;-)

Really appreciate the input.

The indi seems to draw everything very nicely. Keen to watch it in the live market.

Do you trade the triple bottom / top breakout...? Or is it still business as usual entering on extremes? (I suppose you can do the above in the direction of profit...)

Gorgeous chart Jal, simplicity is the best! :D

I want to ask --- are you planning to use point and figure in a major way, maybe to complement some of your main methods? It'll be pretty cool to have a new kreslik thread for P&F with someone knowledgeable leading the way --- just a suggestion and thanks :)

I wanna use P&F as one of many tools to to determine long term price action

MightyOne is the knowledgeable one; Oh Captain my Captain!

I just know google

Sometimes I don't use stop because I'm too lazy to set it and moves like that remind me to get an EA or smth, but that's not the point.

I got out @ 1.4114 (target) on EU

So it was +23 for me instead of 100+

It's one of those trades after which You regret that Your target was hit

Oh btw!

Earlier today I installed CutePNF. I like how it stayed cool in front of this rapid move and how trend line was respected.

I'm far from switching from regular candle charts to P&F but I'm going to keep my eye on it. As if anyone cares what I'm about to. Haha

Note to those using cutepnf remember to fix the scale of your charts in the chart properties section to get the most out of this...

What settings are you using pawel?

I saw that move... Crazy! :-k

Thanks Jal!

I went through the installation guide so I think everything is set properly. My chart looks like Yours from page back so it probably is.

Right now I'm using reverse on 3 and box size 10 but I need to read up some more about P&F. I never really went into it as I thought Mt4 is not able to print it.

Long time ago I saw a strategy based on reverse on 1 and box size 5 or 10. I don't remember the rules now. We need to create another topic for P&F to share the observations.

I wasn't in anything - waiting for longs anyway as everything was nearing longer term supply. Looking for a long pullback entry now. But I know that a lot of trend followers would still have been short...not getting out till price crosses a line would have seen their accounts emptied I feel. I've not quite seen a move as big as that one and so quick though. Big ones yes but not that big - about 3 daily ranges in 15 minutes on some pairs.

May you live in interesting times...
