Maybe this helps?

What do you see? Amongst other things I see that the best entries are at the daily lows, at retraces after breakouts, whether that be from congestion or swing high. Whether you go for the held profit idea or the large bunch of orders at x price having to be filled and price moving away too quickly (no more willing sellers at that price at that time) so they sell to take price back down etc is debatable but the end result is the same.

The dots are just TROs ratzones i.e daily extremes.

I look much forward to this and will be working on some hopefully "good" questions 8)

In the meantime i will keep posting up trades so i can follow my progression.

Im looking at GBP/JPY and i feel price has failed to close higher on the daily+ extreme.

And on the 1h the push above the extreme seems to have left a fail to close higher situation aswell and i will be trying to catch short from here.

"Most of the time my trading is just Space & Position like so: "

I like the "Flag Pole"! :D

So is $450 the max drawdown of the initial $5k position?

$450 is 4.5% of a $10,000 account.

$5,000 is the space gained from 3xCC Hourly.

With the IF/THEN in there, you would be risking...
$1,500-$2,500

I would accumulate something like: 10/12, 12/14, 14/20, 20/25, 25/30
instead of 10/20, 20/30.

Or, on hourly, it might look like: 10/12, 12/15, 15/30, 30/20, 20/35, 35/14 up to the weekly,
14/20, 20/25, 25+5+5+5+5+5.

Here is my latest chart:

5 x 1Point & Figure 3xCC (close on row change)

The power of 3xCC is in the comparison not the CC.

Often people will show me a pattern on a single chart and ask me what it says about the future. A single pattern on a single chart means nothing; it only has meaning in the context of everything.

An idea is what you believe about the truth of trading, such as:
support is a line that can be crossed but not closed below, if price is going higher
then price is closing higher, time will bring price / x pips = time, there are many higher highs but only one highest high, etc.

Ideas are at work on several tf's at the same time.

Hi MO is this somehow similar to what you look for when you analyse through diffrent time units ? also do you combine candles for such time frames or you do that on low tf (hours) only ? thanks for the anwser

I see that I hove a lot of work to do in Sept. ;)

Candles are ALWAYS grouped in periods of THREE!

A box that contains 3 periods has 3 shifts & a box that contains
6 periods has 6 shifts. Once you go beyond 3 shifts you are not gaining
any additional information as you get a greater number of combinations
saying the same thing.

When you are NOT using shifts but a single CC, you are simply attempting
to select the shift that filters out the Rats. Body in the direction of profit, a wick doll, MM, & you are golden.

When you ARE using the shifts you are NOT trading a 3 period but timing the single period.
As before, body in the direction of profit / wick doll / mm, only this time you are not filtering but comparing the actions of each shift.
