PebbleTrader wrote:This might be a little hard to follow but the markups I did on the previous page was the most recent PnF with the supply / demand lines drawn in. What I have done here is removed that most recent area you saw in the previous post, so this is what it looked like just before the more recent stuff happened...

I wanted to mark the supply / demand lines here and see how well they would have worked out in the "future". I marked them by looking at the smallest stat levels. You can compare the levels from the previous post. They are either the same or are 1 level off. Kind of interesting:

Manta,

Does the dot plot right on a reverse from say red box column to green box column? Or does it plot at some point throughout the column?

I've been meaning to ask you this, but it's all been so hectic I decided to wait to ask. Does the "Show Wicks" option mean it is showing breachs?

If so, why does the green column here show it out the bottom of the column?

I dont know

it does show how far the price has penetrated the next box... its meant to show the low penetration as well. Im not 100% happy with that code, but its lower on my fix priority than the other fix I have to do :)

Alright,

That's what I thought, but since you called it "wick" and I had been calling it "breach" and I saw it coming out the wrong side on a few, I wasn't sure what it was :)

I know what you mean, I tried to code it on mine and I never got to a point where I was happy with it either. The tolerance stuff was what was making it tricky.

I still think it is a nice feature if we can eventually figure it out :)

Hello Bredin,
many thanks for this indicator, may i know if it is possible to have a square grid? P&F trendlines are 45 degree and from experience, we need perfect square grid to draw exact 45 degree trendlines.

Is it also possible to highlight the Point of Control (POC)? that will be the rows with the most entries (X and O).

zhaozliong...

you do not need a square grid to draw a 45* trendline....

this is because one box across by one box up is 45*....

thus by extrapolation ANY line drawn that is one box across and one box up can always be considered to be 45*, no matter what its angle actually is. this effect can be seen by taking a hand drawn 45* line and rotating the page away from you: as the page gets 'flatter' the apparent angle of the line will decline... but its still a 45* line, right?

POC? The indicator itself draws nothing. I would also need more information about POC to do an indicator that draws them. WHY are they important? it it just the biggest one that counts? over what number of columns?

hello Bredin,
i will try it out, i am used to seeing square grid with P&F, i was using CutePnF Cute P&F indicator and other platform like bulleyes and they all have square grid to draw the trendlines.

POC is a Market profile term and i learn about it for PnF from a webniar here John Bougearel's P&F Webniar,

best regards.

Bredin,

for GBPCHF, it only loads like a few days worth of PnF columns?:

Is this the issue where MT4 creates gaps in the data and there is nothing you can do about it?
