Hi Lis,

With your latest mod ( Blubbb_ZLines_close_open_minFactor.mq4 ) only bullish zlines (bullish momo bars) are drawn.

I enclose a chart with this indicator and I highlighted some missing zlines.
You know, we're never happy:

Too many zlines!... Too few zlines!... :D

Cheers

Francisco

I know that I have not been an active poster lately...

My friend mixed prescription drugs and liquor and ended up choking to death on his own vomit.

He had just gotten married not even a 2 months ago to a beautiful lass and things were looking up for him.

*sigh*

I hate funerals...

I hate hospitals and funerals. So much lost life and potential. A year ago last Sunday, my nephew died in a car/motor cycle accident. He was on the motor cycle. His mom is still crushed. Our grandson was born on his birthday in march, that was very special in and of itself and even more so after Andrew's death. He was one wonderful young man. He would have been a great athletics coach. jb

monolisa

What is the indicator you are using on your chart above quoted by MO?

Thank you for all your help, I am thrilled to have my NT working going into the weekend. Still lots to learn.

Lis,
How did you know to trade long and not short?

It's easy to see after the fact, for sure. But,
When the candles were forming you got a z-line to trade long, yet the next candle was a spinning top. Then the next candle was a bearish engulfing pattern and a z-line was place to trade short...momentum had changed direction according to that candle. The next candle actually went below the mighty zone of the original momo bar, though it was an Illusion.

Is the original z-line signal Long still in effect until price closes below the mighty zone of that candle??
Is that what you based your bias on or was it that the general trend was up?
Hmmmmmm?

Any additional info of what YOU saw while candles were forming live would be appreciated. I'm having difficulty hanging with trades because of the Illusions and also having trouble taking trades because of the Illusions.
I know, I know, closed bodies are truth but how do you cope psychologically.
Thanks.

Pro,

The MZ was a long bias one. I would not change the bias unless price action shows the contrary in the MZ.

I go down to smaller tf (I use M5) to place my entry using the VSA and dchappy methods (see the thread NINJA PLATFORM).

You need to believe in your trading method/system. Belief brings confidence and you would hang on to your trade longer (and reach your desired TP).

Me to and I haven't even been to my own yet!

Our larger family is well spread about the country and we used to joke that we only had get togethers at weddings. Now time has moved on and we only get together at funerals. *sigh*

Sorry to hear of your sad news, especially for the young widow.

Stinks to hear about your friend.
Times like these we reallize the most Important things in our lives are FREE and IRREPLACEABLE.

I was driving along just tonight telling my 8 yo daughter that same thing......I said if you step out in front of that car it would not matter if I owned the entire world, I could not replace you. And you were free. Your brother was free and I am free for you too. There will never be another mightymoe (her nickname since she was 3mo) on this planet. And is she a cutie......

My condolences to you.
