Maybe you can modifie the semafor to give a sound alert on every number and not only the threes. So people don't need to stay at there screen. This is no brainer trading if it matches every currencie there is.

Once it has a 1/2/3 it stays. Doesn't matter if it repaints on the same bar. You then psych trade the next candle.

Isn't the semfor just the highest high/lowest low of the last X candles? Or is there more to it then that?

Repainting? I HATE THAT!! What idiot came up with that term? The low of the day indicator repaints because the low of the day can change!!

It's the way MT4 is coded. That's why it "repaints".

You trade in REAL TIME, not in HISTORY so IT DOESN'T MATTER!!

What, technically, is a semafor? any time a 1, 2 or 3 appears? Can accomplish the same thing with the dynamic fib lines, no?

Yes, you can use dynamic fibs sr to do the same thing.

The 1, 2, 3 represent a "turn" or maxima / minima for that period.

I like trading the 5 minute chart with the custom candle set to 60 minutes behind it. If I wanted the semafor indicator (or any tro indicator for that matter) to show the turns/signals in the hour chart, I assume I would just modify the periods in the indicator by multiplying each of them by 12

12 - 5 minute periods in an hour

NO! That's not how it works.

You would need a dashboard or other indicator to display the H1 data.

Why not? If i adjust for the difference of in the time period, I can do what I described with the dynamic fibs.

Alternatively if I could plot a 5 minute custom candle on top of a 1 hour chart and have the indicators run on the one hour chart, that would be cool
