Ill show you a beautiful one i took today. I like them cuz i can just throw out a limit order and just let price wick me in. Made 3.5 to 1. Could have added but still working on that.
Re: Mr. Hyde becomes a scalper
Def gonna have to build up to sclaping 6 hours a day. I got a solid 3 or 4 hours in me, especially if im winning and price is playing nice. Price has been in a 10 pt range all day and i have still made some money but I can feel the "*censored - swear word* it" just buy/sell it and hold it coming on. DISCPLINE. PATIENCES. FOCUS.

Re: Mr. Hyde becomes a scalper
Alright. Quasimodo pattern. Its a head and shoulder pattern where the right shoulder closes below the left shoulder. When price does this i look the the left shoulder extreme and find the highest close. Not the highest point. We set are limit order there with are stops above the head. Targets are either left shoulder pivot, right shoulder pivot, start of move or hold for break out. There was a nice demand zone at the start of the move so thats what i aimed for. The orange box shows where i could have added for another 2 to 1. But it still was worth 3.5.
Re: Mr. Hyde becomes a scalper
Final tally was 3 winners, 2 or 3 missed trades, 1 loser, 1 be, 1 still open. Won 3 out of 6 so far. About 5 to 1. Not shabby. Exhausted!!!!
Re: Mr. Hyde becomes a scalper
Extra credit for whoever. Find the quasimodo pattern in the afternoon session. Which is my still open trade.
Re: Mr. Hyde becomes a scalper
GRAND SLAM!!!! I'll post tomorrow. Had my balls drop and added twice.

You can take all of your actions, from drawing lines to placing orders, on the open of a new 5 minute bar and then go back to smoking your cigar; in so doing you will have reduced an hour into just 12 minutes of trading.
It doesn't matter if you are trading a 2 or 3 minute, an hourly, or a daily chart, if the clock is not at a multiple of 5 minutes then there is nothing to do.
