You can see the pole on the UC worked out nicely. I also included the 4hr chart so you could see my longer term reason to be in it. Its a topic that Dragon mentions. A high/low failure. Pretty much you have a candle make a high with a wick and then the following candles can't close beyond that high. So then I look for a candlestick pattern to get in and look for a zline to target. Also I will throw fibs on and see if there is any confluence with S/R that may cause price to bounce. Super basic and super easy.

These past post are literally 90% of my trading. The one trade setup I haven't thrown up yet is a 123/TTE (traders tick entry). There are 2 perfect examples, one on the 4hr chart of AU and one on the 4hr of AJ. Im in both of them.
Here is a perfect example of 123, with a traders tick entry. The entry is just the low or high of the 3rd bar of the pullback. Quick 25 pips.

What a great 1-2-3! Not sure what is TTE and where it is on the chart.

Four strategies for Awesome Oscillator: 0-line cross, saucers, twin peaks, and trendline cross. The last seems very interesting as it gives a signal ahead of 0-line cross.

Well, hello there...
Mr-D, you may have unearthed a rather interesting nugget there.
AO-Trendline Cross.
I have to say that I have never heard of this but having just taken a cursory look at some random charts, well...bazinga!!!
I am now wondering if there is some mileage in a similar approach being used with my Double-MACD (as that performs to give signals around the same time as the AO).
As I said, interesting.

What I would say, is that it may be better to set an entry at the level price is at when you get the signal and enter when/if price again crosses that level, rather than entering straight away - certainly as you come down the time frames.

Love your trades aliassmith. Mind me asking what you use as a stop loss.

Damnit. Something that could make me like the AO even better. Looks like I got some reading to do.

Glad you liked it! You also suggest an interesting thought. Can we get it illustrated? I was thinking of entering at the open of the current bar because price does seem to return there.

"Can we get it illustrated?" I think there's a good chance
