MM aside, you pick the stuff that you're good at. Some people are better suited with scalping. others with swings and then there are those who are good with both. Find out what you are and then collect the parts. What usually happens is people with scalping mentality try to go with swing trade because they see others posting 5R 10R 20R trades and then they get nowhere or worse, get destroyed over and over again.
When you go collect the parts, make sure they all fit. A scalping method need scalping parts (scalping MM, scalping trigger, scalping tf, scalping pair, scalping psyche, scalping mentality, scalping trade grading etc.) Check the parts, ask if you're not sure.
