notice the similarity. This is how I make my exits in the stock market.

Does this method of trading only apply to the smaller timeframes, or can it be used on larger, such as H1 and H4?

At the core of many methodologies I notice similarities among the
"things" that create the edge.

So, what are you stating from your post? The verbage is non-specific.

By observing your pic I think you exit when "your trend" assumption is
broke?

Probably the same concept at its core. :)

I have learned that there are many ways to SEE the same thing.

aliassmith,

yes, I simply draw trend lines. I also use them as (manual trailing) SL when the support/resistance is too far.

But I will add that there are many differences between stocks and Forex so I just wanted to make a parallel, not a definitive assumption.

"The trend is your friend"...
