Thanks dragon for showing us new stuff... :D do you always draw in this lines? or is it just for explanation? to show us....

I only draw them when they fall of my screen. It is just something to consider and for learning purposal about support and resistance.

If you know these points then you can almost predict if it is worth taking a trade or not.

If you can choose to take a trade now with a possibility of 20 pips or just wait till you get the RIGHT opportunity to make about 100 what would you do!!!

I guess i know.

Well those lines can give you that edge you need.

i began on h4. look at bar 1. a bear candle that failed to close lower and instead has long lower wick. after it closed i switched to h1:

then after price came back into the zone i used the rat technique to enter.

loss :(

what was my mistake?

From the perspective of a RAT, you failed to take your cheese when you could, in other words, you let a winner become a loser! Look at your M15 chart. Price FAILED to make a new high. If price is NOT making a new high, then it is REVERSING off the high.

That's because you are not looking for the signs!!!

All you have to do is draw line on the turns. The place where two bodies close and open and change from color.

See how price react around these areas!!!

Question, Dragon, do you also draw lines for the current day or only draw lines for prior days? I ask because the chart you posted did NOT have any lines drawn for the current day. Thanks.

I have them in my visual when they fall of my screen tehn i draw them.

Most of the times i go back two days. For the rest i just use zerolines on H4 and D1

My 2 cents, even though I took a long rat +14, I still had a short bias for GU

Your second short was a false rat.

... red candle closes. Enter short at red candles low.

waited all day for this opportunity. no luck though.

Image

h4 made a new high, couldn't close higher and had a looong wick. the next candle was bearish with some momentum.

Image

after price came into the zone wicking and being rejected by it i looked for a short rat possibility. see the line. i entered as soon as price crossed below. unfortunately this was a losing trade.
any ideas, dragon? would you show us your trades from today?
