es/pip, ty for continuing to post charts, arrows, and lines. After staring at these threads and your charts for quite a while, me thinking that the bulb just got lit.

Price closed over a line that you believed to be support and that is the first indication that something is WRONG-MO

Hello fellow traders...
This is my first trade of the week. Wanted to hold for 50 pips more which is a H1 area, but I'm busy at work, don't want the trade waist my attention... besides it has happened to me that I end up closing profitable trades into loss or ridiculous profit. Thus, decided to get these 34 pips, right into that swing extreme. Good for +10% in my account.

Lets see what else we can get during the week. Best to all.

Jalarupa Zline Extravaganza!

Postby Jalarupa » Mon Apr 19, 2010 3:58 pm

Hey guys,

Seeing as you are all showing ya Zline trades here, I'd like to post my trade for today... If you don't mind... :D

I am fairly new to this awesome concept of trading and I wanted to test out its measure over long term Zline goals, So what I did was get myself into a bit of a pickle this morning by having to trade myself out of a early trade (luckily in my limited experience of the Z I see it nearly always comes back to the breakout).

Image

You can see I jumped in a bit early on in the trade and eventually traded out for a small profit.

LUCKY!!!!

Then I had a look at the bigger picture H1 story and I saw that the GAP needed to be filled (at some stage... So I figured I could enter LONG at lower price Zlines and ride the waves to an eventual profit at 1.52777... Before the GAP even got touched... So less risk on my part...

I did this cause I dont have access to my charts during work, but was watching the market ticker every 2 hours or so... My hunch paid off and price went down towards my horizontal LONG entries and at the start of NY session took out my TP for a whopping 234 pips for the day!

Your input advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks cfabian, nice trading.

A request if I may, for us poor soles with small monitors [19"]). Could you make your charts about half the size of your last one. Unfortunately the width of the web page expands (from the screen size) to fit the chart, and so every bodies text runs way off the screen.

Edit: Sorry cfabian yours only needs to a bit smaller, the half size request goes to Braathen.
Is price closing higher or lower than something? Simple yet powerful question. ..MO
