Here is what I saw, but only got a small piece of..

Trading H4/D1 is oh so much easier, but holding on to appropriate profits (number of pips) is oh so hard =[

You just get position on a long term chart and then hedge when and where possible and re-enter at a better price (and adjusted position size) using your profit as a cushion.

THank you. I will do my best to put your advice into (successful) practice.

DEBATED EVEN POSTING THIS, AS THIS WAS AN ABNORMAL DAY FOR ME TO SAY THE LEAST

s/r trading on euro m5

there is no way to explain this, you just have to watch PA at s/r and decide what you want to do

watching m5 areas and looking at m1 PA to make decisions, cant really explain exactly the entry its just watching the PA and making decisions on what i see happening

am also aware of where the significant higher time frames areas are. when i see something that looks like the m5 PA is going to transition to the m15-h1 areas then i hold for those areas.

these charts are a mess, cant fit it all in so its clear

many may look at this and say " wtf-- he is nuts"

hopefully some see something in it bec i am not marking a m5 up again like this---- lol

I WANT TO STRESS----- THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME
I AM THRILLED TO KNOCK OUT 20-30 A DAY SCALPING------THIS WAS ABNORMAL.------

i went in ZEN mode and couldn't do anything wrong so i kept pounding it out. USUALLY DONT TRADE THIS LONG.

DONT TRY THIS LIVE UNTIL YOU HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME WATCHING PA LIVE------- AND SOMEWHAT KNOW HOW TO SCALP

THIS IS NOTHING NEW OR GROUND BREAKING IT IS JUST S/R, WHEN ONE HOLDS IT WANTS TO MOVE TO THE OTHER

THE POINT OF THIS POST IS NOT HOW MANY PIPS WERE MADE, BUT RATHER TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENS AT S/R. IF IT BREAKS IT WHERE IS IT GOING? IF IT HOLDS WHERE IS IT GOING TO GO TO?

WHERE ARE THE PROS BUYING AND SELLING?
WHERE ARE THE AMATEURS BUYING AND SELLING?

m5 euro scalping s/r

1. dbl bottom out back into prev resistance

2. h & s cover back into prev support

3. failed new low, out back into prev resistance

4. resistance becomes support out into m15 supply zone

5. long on a higher low out back into resistance

6. short failed new high and cover back into support

+59 pips @ 3% per 10---- MINUS COMMISH

but you can get an idea of what i am looking at as far as scalping and s/r goes

Image

1. short back into m15 and h1 support becomes resistance out at prev support

2. failed new high out -5

3. same trade again out at support

4. long at support out at resistance

5. short at res out at sup.

6. news back into support and long out into res.

7. short at failed high out into res becomes sup

8. 1 min failed back short target lower support

9. long off failed low and out at b/e

10. failed low in background and H & S, long out into resistance

11. res. becomes support out into res.

12. same as above-- didnt like it out +2

13. same again out into resistance

14. failed high didnt make it to target area out on PA on m1

15. zl, target h1 resistance, finally felt like the PA was setting up for the h1 pivot with HL and HH. PA didnt hold so i got out(was looking for the h1 prev high--should have taken the h1 zl--

16. h1 zl, short on 1 min PA target m5 prev. support

17. long off support/bottom of demand zone, target right shoulder on m15 of a h&s

18. failed low-- SHOULD BE +3 not +8

19. mini H&S on m5 target prev. resistance--- NICE EXIT THING RIPPED 60 PIPS

20. h1 H&S short had a 20 pip target back into 5 min sup. becomes res. but got out early.

+ 228 pips @ 3% per 10---- MINUS COMMISH

i had 3 other small losers for a total of -12 pips but i cant remember where i had those. a couple other b/e but i cant remember where.
