You could watch the Sam Seiden video's to find out where to look for demand/supply levels. Also read his articles, both are on fxstreet.com

As for timeframes: it works on any tf; the higher the tf the stronger the levels. You can actually use that to your advantage.

I do but for this one I moved it below the last 3 sema. So there was quite a bit space. I admit I checked DR.Sivaraman blog and I just trusted his prediction :) But I don't do that too often. This was THE FIRST time in 2010 I moved my stop :)
