IN-XS wrote:PTG, with regards to your entry short from 1.6243, do you enter like Dragon's method, or are you looking at supply and demand area's?

supply/demand.

If this fails, look at 1.6259-ish.

There is $ news coming up today.

Extremes may be hit so be careful

Thanks a lot PTG I have been trying to trade like that, but today I found it broke through a lot of area's and I always seemed to be on the wrong side.

You need to take the bigger picture into account. Consult higher timeframes and look where you are in that bigger picture. You cannot go against the bigger picture (unless you're crazy that is  )

This is not the best of trades really. I'm still short. First target 1.6200, second 1.6150, 3rd 1.6120

Market is dead. News in 1.5 hour.

The issue is that the news will cause volatility and my stop may be hit.

We'll see what happens

Thats the area's I have marked out, so I am on the right lines, I was thinking there might be a pullback when the first target is hit at 1.6200, then after the pullback I will be looking to short again!

That's another thing, how far away do you place your stops? I have found mine are getting hit, just before it turns around. Thanks for the previos answers and for all your help PTG I appreciate it.
