Change your symbol_1_KOD , symbol_2_KOD & symbol_3_KOD to 168, in your semafor indicator settings. Lets you see your wicks also.

Yes, it's very hard to see the wicks with the big a%^ sema 3 in the way :)

Thanks tmanbone and Johny, I'll try it now, the best to you guys.

I've a few questions about the direction with sema 3

What is deemed safe to trade in that particular direction when a sema 3 appears on a H4 candle

1. when the H4 sema candle close
2. depends on the next candle close (after 1)
3. depends on next candle with momo after (1)
4. need momo away (1) then wait for retrace then trade in the momo direction.

I think 4 :!: :?:

Not trying to be spoon fed but I've no experience with these semas. Thank you.

The simplest part to recognise that is the size of the candle. If a candle is twice as big as previous we talk about momo! In the futere you will see there will be other momo candles but that's more difficult to explain.

I tried to perfect your entries and SL based on MOMO on H4.

Is this correct. Enter at white, SL at red?

According to your lines it would have been something like this. Remember i play big lots and try to catch the move of the day. Sometimes the move is obvious sometimes not. I do not have a problem taking small pips. With the tool i use i am almost certain for closing with just 1 pip. If i trigger 15 pips and it is not clear for me i'll take it.
This was the hardest part for me taking all those small gains but after all it pays very good. Another point was learning to wait and therefore are the semafors and zerolines good tools.

99% of the times my stop will be 20 or less.

Thanks for showing your entries Dragon, I love this method, it just logical to catch the move right at the beginning in the shortest time without much risk.

I always thought catching billions of pips was the objective but really you can't go far wrong with taking some pips here and there for growth in ROI is most important, not pips.

A little more about how i handle it.
I try to get 30 pips per pair on gu, ej, gj together that's 90 a day. The way i trade and when i have time i am able to catch those moves who makes 30 pips at once.
So at the end of the days i often have more then the 90 pips. After all it does not matter if i catch the 30 in 3 times 10 or less!

Just build up your trade. The sema isn't always at the right place when it appears. Therefore you draw the zerolines, if they match with the numbers start trading away from it. You always need to wait for a closed candle!!
The next candle close can tell you a lot of times of the number on previous i correct or not. It stays the same you trade from point A to B according to what the market is giving you and not the otherway around. If you could force that oh man you need to tell me how you do that.

Momo is important for direction.

The charts are not mine and i do not recognise that trade. I just illustrated where i would have entered if where going to do that.

I do trade against H4 momo if i see some signs of hitting a stoppoint otherwise i don't.
