I guess I have a problem to understand/pick right "chart extreme" because it depends on how far I zoom out the chart.

Your largest chart is always the chart that you are 'trading'; this could be a daily, weekly, or even monthly chart.

Now if you are always trading your largest chart & if trading is simply placing and trailing stops then the minimum requirement for placing a trade on a small chart is to hold the long term extreme, isn't it?

When you break trading down into its simplest parts then you need only take a few pieces to form an idea by which you trade.

When trading is simple you have full knowledge of the idea and you know when the idea falls apart, but when trading is complex then the answer to your problem is always yes & no.

For you trading is complex because you are searching for what is past finding out instead of trading what you see.

I used to log on or chat with you and Never ever have any *censored - swear word* idea what you were talking about (other than you had a fascination with alchohol :D ). Its got to be a good sign that I'm finally reading some of this stuff and saying, "DUH". 8)

That being said back to my Sunday afternoon reading! LOL

I introduced a lot of things a decade too early that is for sure...& having access to my every thought has driven more than one person insane

My fascination is with zeros, those big beautiful zeros
the alcohol just makes creative people more creative

I hope that you are saying 'duh', trading isn't rocket science *shoves rocket-ship under the carpet*

You'll see the theme of really shitty take profits. But adding space :)

Top red is entry, bottom red is TP. OBV I'm late so forgive all the extra PA, I will get caught up and post there real time or soon after. I just don't want to forget the stuff I've learned and have to relearn as has seemed to happen to me oh I don't know about a 1000 times.

3 micro

Again, shitty TP, but adding space. Red lines/thumbs are entry and exit. Hoping it was going to break lower(should have hedged until it confirmed), but once it became apparent it was coming back I got out. Hindsight, I wish I'd have gotten back in and put my space to better use. A common theme.

A loss.

Hindsight, I have no idea what drew me to that extreme, looks like I was just too early. This is after the couple of big wins, this is where you start talking to yourself.
