15-min and 5-min are showing a hold call. Hopefully not for long.

I do have to say that every bone and fibre in my scalper's body is screaming at me right now to close those trades for a nice, healthy profit! :D

So if it all goes pear shaped, I hope you know it'll all be your fault, you lot! :P :P :P

Pulled all the way back and now making its way down again.

Having thought about it, instead of simply letting the trade breathe - old school indeed, lol - perhaps I should go into how I would actually run a trade like this, should I by any chance want to run it over a day or whatever.

What has just happened would have shown that technique perfectly, in that once I had seen those in-profit figures, I would in fact have closed them and bagged.

Then I would have waited out the pull back and then re-entered as it turned once more (plus there would also have been the option to either trade the retrace as a stand-alone or as a hedge/nedge, real hard-core stuff!).

I would then rinse and repeat all the way down this move, in-out, in-out, shake it all about :)

Anyway, that's what I would have done in real life. As I said.

You will therefore also be able to note that this is simply my basic scalping method, literally up-scaled on the time frame.

It is so funny, I truly hadn't realised just quite how far from the long time frame trader's mentality I had actually come. I really don't think I could go back now.

The first lock-in target is 70 pips away from entry.

That would be around the 50% level of the big move up on H4 chart.

'Morning all.

Well, this pain in the a** is still hovering around. So much for getting a nice clear example :D

You'll have noticed that I have added another entry at a better price.

You'll also see that the entry is still perfectly valid on the H1 and H4 time frames.

Nothing much of anything happening for me this morning (except for playing about with Alias' set-up, which is fun :D ), so will stick up another view of our UJ play.

This is a pure Thunder+Lightning set-up, with HA candles.

I add S+D to this, as HA needs a sauce to complement how it works, as it is not as clear cut as looking back at past charts makes it seem.

Anyway, this clearly shows why we are stuck in the mud just now...

So you can see in the above, how price is trapped by S+D. We need some momo to break through.

However, should we get that, you can clearly see on the H4 how much clear air we have to move into, so frustrating as it is, it is very much worthwhile hanging in there with it.
