It is. It was one of the first lessons I had drummed into me. Drummed in big time.

Instantly stops any needful feelings that lead to revenge trading.

I've never used Ichimoku before so sorry if this is a dumb question. I can't seem to find the right indicator on mt4 that has the Senkou Span A and B. The one that comes with mt4 only has 3 parameters and not 4. So my question is does anyone have an indicator with the 4 correct parameters or are you guys using a different platform. Thanks and thanks Lem for the thread, looks like some interesting stuff.

Welcome aboard cmac and not a dumb question.

The platform I use is my own broker's variant of cTrader.

I am aware of the differences in the offered indicators and I have been looking at the mt4 question and am attempting to find a solution.

I had planned on sitting the morning out due to the holiday but best laid plans of mice and men and all that...

The Monster was just too tempting - especially as I looked in and saw that I had just missed a perfect set up by the distance of one candle.

That was gone but the move looked strong enough to sustain at least one half-decent pull back and sure enough, patience paid off and I got pull back and rebound off the 50 level that I was looking for.

In the end, +5 and change.

DAX T-60 Chart +5 and change.

Now, this is my scalping variant of the stuff we've been looking at in the thread. I'm not hiding anything here, as I am going to be adding into the knowledge bank as this week goes on, by adding this offshoot.

One naturally flows from the other, however there are actually significant differences at the root level.

This was just a nice example to show how it can play out. The same - but different :P

Hi Lem,

Interesting where you draw the Fib ... Is the beginning (100%) and the pullback to the 100% around 8:40 kind of Z-Line?

The fib is actually drawn from the last bounce high, I then extended it left for clarity on the chart - and guess what, it tied into the last drop low. Funny that, eh? :P
