Servers been offline most of the day for maintenance so wasn't able to see the Flip. I'll post up if I manage to get a look at it later.

Re: Journey of the ES - Wannalearn12
Really shouldn't have taken anything to do with The Flip today.
I was pushing a boulder uphill, in that I was going against both a HOLO and a Z-Line set-up. (I think it was a Z-Line set-up, lol). Plus I think there was a Supply Zone up there as well. Talk about a stacked deck.
Anyway. To boldly go where no plopper has gone before...in I went.
Went nowhere, more like.
In long and it really didn't stand a chance. Didn't get anywhere near the target before it turned.
However, just to be awkward, it also didn't break the low. Oh the fun.
Oh and did I mention it was doing all of this in slow motion? I just can't get used to anything that moves like this. The Monster has really spoiled me!
Sooooooo...taking the initiative (and I should point out that there was a micro Demand Zone below, so I wasn't completely winging it), I kicked in with another long entry once price dropped and then began to turn, looking for it to cover the original trade.
Got away with it.
500-Flip (Sort of)
So to recap, the first entry is done long Wick-Zone, the second is taken on the movement in the second candle and that gives two positive outcomes.

As an update.
That last candle heading up, ended up taking a perfect test-and-bounce off the line.
Even excluding any input from that drop, you could have bagged on the low break. As we've seen, if the original flip doesn't work, it'll more-often-than-not go far enough the other way.

Re: Journey of the ES - Wannalearn12
I was out earlier tonight and looking at this set-up, I'm kinda' glad, as tbh, I would have had no clue as to whether to take this or not.
That super-strong bounce and all...mmmmmmm....
If the 17:00 bar had reversed into the previous momo, then I would have felt a whole lot happier about going in, as we'd likely have had a turn again into a continuation - but it didn't, the move just kept on truckin'.
If you had gone in - hit the fail short - then the long break would have cleared you ok, so there is that.
Anyway, for the record, here's how it looked.
Non-Starter Flip
As an aside, sweet Z-Line move short.

What a beauty(whole move). Ploppers would be happy campers as well. When you say ‘flip’, you mean 123?

Sorry, no, in this instance, this refers to the ''500-Flip'', which is the tendency for the 18:00 candle to flip the direction of the 17:00 (UK time). If it doesn't do this all the way and doesn't go far enough to bag the +5, then it will likely break big out the other side (in the original move direction).
The Vertical line(s) here show the 17:00 bar.

Almost didn't take this tonight as there was little-to-no confirmation information but I had the not-traded-much-today-itis in my finger and whaddayaknow...I ended up taking the WZ short. Gut instinct. Luck. Good kharma...who knows.

Like we talked about, I love playing the flip with other trade idea's. Had the close over a pivot with momo (could be called a zline). 5m chart printed a weak bearish bar which didn't give me huge confidence so I kept it on a tight leash and grabbed a quick 5 points. Could have been greedy and held it to the bottom to retest the extreme and it would have put me over a 50% gain for the ES today, but I dint want to be greedy
Thanks again Lem
