I think that if you're finding this method hard to trade, or if you are creating new "rules" to trade it, then you're just overcomplicating. Just try to look at it differently, SEE IT!
Choose the way that you like:

And then look at the box/are as a zone!
If you're above then just buy when price touches the zone, if it wicks below then you're still in.
Price is going down when it CLOSES below, and this is when you simply reverse the zone
Btw if you master EIGHTS/SPACE you could find your entries with a MA cross and make the same money
