I’ve waited for a lower low this time, nothing
Price closed above my stop loss and then it reached my previous target (south).

Take a lesson from dchappy and wait until it is at least possible to cross the AO ZL shortly after entry.

Thank you IgazI!
Do you mean to wait for a AO cross before considering a breakout?

I considered that zone as a breakout since it was a lower low with a broken S/R around the 50% of the bearish move.

Price does this thing very often by the way.
I mean that it closes over my (“my” aka “retail’s”) stop loss, then it closes back in and goes straight to the EX take profit.
Maybe considering a more defensive position sizing and then adding in is better than trading all the size immediately

No, you simply time an entry signal with the possibility of price crossing the AO ZL (40 SMA in our case) soon after you enter.

Notice that the 2 SMA BO is also an AO BO:

The only time you would trade a high point is after price reverses from the 40 SMA:

Not sure if I'm doing you any favour with this and this is also not to disparage others. I see you bouncing around from idea to idea which, if correct, you'd have to stop doing if you want to get anywhere with trading. You may end up in a madhouse otherwise. Pick one simple thing and stick to it for at least 100 trades and see where you get. Pick something like HOLO, thread is here https://www.kreslik.com/forums/therumpledone/holo-highest-open-lowest-open-trade-t12931?hilit=HOLO. Or pick any of the ideas of LeMercenaire but pick one simple idea and stick to it. The simple idea comes down to this: you wait for price to cross a horizontal line and you enter a trade. Nothing fancy, that's it. Point is, we all have to learn how to walk before we can run.

YW Mira.
When trading WITH colour, you are in fact trading away from a horizontal line, namely the open of the candle you're referencing. TRO has some tools to show that this is advantageous statistically.
There's no business like [strike]show[/strike] covid19 business.
