As I posted elsewhere, I have been in and out all day and apart from some DAX scalping, I missed everything, lol.

I was even in the room when this trade kicked off but was distracted by other stuff and completely missed it. Both the 1-2-3 and the HOLO follow-up option.

What can you do...

1-2-3 Entry...

Hi LeM!

Do you think that this setup on EurZar could have been a HTF HOLO example?

I believe you need a candle to open in the wick zone fail to make a new high then enter at that open top line

HOLO VIDEO
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!

Please do NOT PM me with trading or coding questions, post them in a thread.

This isn't as simple as it seems and I'm not entirely sure how successful this attempt to clarify it will be :D - but here goes and let me know if you understand any of it.

The easiest way is to transpose the time-frames, so that would look like this:

1: The standard HOLO uses the Highest H1 and Lowest H1 Opens over the One Day time-frame, entering on the m5.

This means that for you to use the Daily time-frame to enter, you would have a set of -

2: Highest Monthly and Lowest Monthly Opens over the One Year time-frame, entering on the Daily, or...

2a: Highest Weekly and Lowest Weekly Opens over the Monthly time-frame, entering on the Daily.

In the standard method, we look for an m5 candle to open in the area between the new qualifying open and the extreme, however on the higher time-frame variants, you may wish to enter simply as price moves over and back and not need a candle to open. Both are equally valid and there are pluses and minuses on both sides but generally speaking, the higher you go, the more likely you'd just want to use price.
