Had to look over my downloaded pictures. Can’t find the direct post but this is where I got the idea for the above pictures. My goal is to sell at B…or Buy at C in an uptrend and vice versa

Found this video. The “fade” she’s talking about is pretty much my AUDUSD trade from Monday (pivot fade). She does a good job of explaining the fundamental behind the technicals.
I’m in the US so most of my chart experience is Asia. With that being said, #1 and #2 repeat often. #3 I haven’t paid attention to but I will look into it.
Feels nice to have someone explain the same phenomenon but through different lenses.

Thanks for sharing, the Asian session is the main one for myself as well, some good ideas to chase up in this.

Re: Here's how MightyOne made me a profitable trader
Lately, I've been looking into the pattern where price ranges and then proceeds to breakout. As mentioned in an earlier post, I'm using MO's 2xCCHAHA indicator and I think it can make seeing those ranges a lot easier.
#1 I took MO's advise with channels of "cutting through price" and carried that idea with the boxes. I started reading Igazi's thread and found some gems in there as well. I know MO didn't use this indicator, my guess is he could "see" this without any help. Lately, even without the indicator, my eyes have become adjusted to seeing these boxes, so that's really neat.
I only put on these custom candles when I'm drawing the boxes. I'll put on the regular chart once I see the top or bottom of the box because I want to get "wicked into" the trade (entry and adding).
This is a Wick Zone Trade, bias was for previous low to be crossed. We were in the upper wick zone, I entered with the idea and it paid off (always aware of higher timeframe movement as well)

Here's without the boxes drawn. The bottom cluster of boxes has actually become a larger timeframe range. I also ran across a thread about the Darvas box and I think this is pretty much the same, primary/optima entry is not the breakout though.
Follow the bars and once you see a new bar close within the body of the previous candle, that previous high or low is where the box starts.

Ever since I started, I've always been active during the Asia Session. Most pairs, not usually US pairs, will show some good setups. Normally, wick zone trades take place in Asia and if there's greater movement (news), then the pivot fade becomes an option. Plus, the closer we get to London, which is usually the stop hunt time, the more I have a feel of what to expect depending on the range produced during Asia. Rarely do I trade London though, I'm asleep by then.

While you are here, did you bother with USD pairs in the Asian session at all?

or NIK futures
