here are my trades from today!

2 losses where i was the stupid retailer that tried to buy on highs

it is easier for me to calculate only the winners and losers since yesterday. so the new calculation is:

103 pips

13 trades - 8 won - 5 lost

when i look at my pictures i see that all my losers come from situations where i bought on highs or sold on lows. also i had stupid stops exactly at the s/r-areas. it is good for me to see that now in a journal...often i traded days without knowing what my real problem is and where the losses do come from....

please feel free to comment ;-)

Ok, here is today:

one big loser: after 30 pips in profit my first trade turned into a 20 pip-loser

It's hard to see what you are doing unfortunately.
Failure is an opportunity to learn.

FXfreak,
While I can tell that you're trading EURUSD on M5, it would be helpful if you included the pair and timeframe somewhere.

It might make it easier for busy guys to give input.

i replied to your PM

and will post some of that reply here

In all honesty, nothing i really can say or do will help you that much. You have to just spend the time with it and it will gradually come to you. From the look of your journal you are making money, that is better than 95% of other traders---- and you just started with all this.

100% truth------------- you just have to see it for yourself.

everyone sees it a tad different, and therefore trades it a tad different, you just need to make it yours and trade it

what i will do

is

if you post CLEAR charts that are marked like my charts

---- arrow where you went in
---- lines drawn from the correct bar that you are referencing i will comment on your charts/trades and show you my take on that PA.

aside from all that

dont buy highs or sell lows

if you are not in from the previous extreme or missed a momo pullback you just have to let that trade go

you are getting in based on the fear of missing out, and therefore are getting in when all the losers are getting in

DONT BUY HIGHS

DONT SELL LOWS

Bend over and assume the position for another 4 years of hope and change.
