I don't think you are talking about the BUY ZONE at all.

The above chart has the BUY ZONE plotted.

Go long when a green candle hits the blue lines.

Go short when a red candle hits the red lines.

That's the BUY ZONE.

Use a 5 pip STOP LOSS.

I wrote a MT4 BuyZone history indicator so you can look back.

Yes, you can use the BUY ZONE on a weekly basis, monthly basis, annual basis.

Using the BUY ZONE on end of day IS the original way of using the BUY ZONE.

oh shoot, I thought that the Fib dynamic support was the signal on long. Thanks for the tip, btw I just listen traderinterviews.com interview with you. Man, you must be awfully well-known in this industry, if not at least filthy rich. Glad to be in this forum :)

RE: Buy Zone Start

Hi Avery,

Just wanted to let you know that I have enjoyed what I have read so far about your buy zone. This is exactly the type of methodology I have been looking for and fits my trading personality to a tee.

I am a complete newbie with regards to your method and am looking for the best way to get a complete education on it. I hope the following question is allowed and if it isn't I apologize. I came across your web site about the "The Breakout Bounce System" and was wondering if that includes in the education I need for the "Buy Zone"?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

To all the rest I say greetings and thanks for all your input. I have enjoyed your postings!

Jim:

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE!

"The Breakout Bounce System" is totally different from the "Buy Zone"?

Just read all the Buy Zone threads on this forum.

hi tro and thanks for the reply,

As the buyzone is traded just using the price and is not time frame dependent, does this mean i could use tick charts instead as this is what ive always used???

Also, i notice you re-set the zones every hour, this works like you say because the range is there, but are the statistics as good or lower than the original open price setting???

regards,

jason

Yes, you can use tick charts.

I reset the buyzone for FOREX, for stocks it stays put.

I would like to suggest to add a text somewhere in the MT4 chart that describe the current price of the buy zone and sell zone so that a user can see it quickly
