Tyger, I don't actually. But I have been tempted since it looks like it wants to zero out the breakout before the real move. I try not to look at the order once it is placed until after the close of the candle. Far too much temptation for me if I think too much about it.
Failure is an opportunity to learn.

The averaging into positions aproach makes much sense to me. I understand the concept and think its also very good for psychological point of view.
I just wonder how you (MO, others) handle the positions after you averaged in. You said you dont use stops and you dont let the price go to the average price. Does this mean you always look at your positions when you are in a position? Or do you let the positions run without sl over night?
thanks for your answer!

If I didn't have as much time, I'd pretty much be going at it the way newark does.
newark, when you give yourself the large stop loss on small position size, do you ever get the temptation to 'cheat a little', if price goes back, for example 75% into your stop loss?? Not moving your Stop Loss, but hoping you could be catching a reach back, and give yourself a little 'bonus'??
Tyger, I do the same as you... all day at the PC, and micro managing trades. Results? I'm a slave of the charts and the returns do not pay as much.
I personally like to trade longer charts in a set up and relax manner. Higher stops, smaller lots, but more pip runs. Outcome? I think about the same or more than what I get now. This way I can go about my life. I'm just looking for a proper way to trade this way.
WILL GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THOSE BASTARDS, AND I MEAN IT !!!!!

Clean chart no laggy indicators, just me and my S&R levels.
PS you said you are talking via googletalk, how can i find you there?
My Skype id "Krosglass-Zakupy" i would be glad if you could give me a sign if you had some time to talk
Once again "THANKS"!!!!!
Thank you for your kind words Michaelion,
I mostly chat and send files via Google Talk
If I cannot send files, for whatever reason, then I will not even answer the person.
If they are horrible at typing then I will chat live if I am not talking to a group of other people.
If I do not have a beer in my hand then there will be no typing or chatting
