image 1 : not a fat cat
image 2 : fat cat

assuming I read MOs instructions right on page 1 :)

I though the entries are meant to be taken on small tf charts, so I wont comment on your entries, since I cant see if they are with CC color or not.

Why is image 1 not a fat cat?

I am trying out this method using HTFs (i.e., H1 candles with H4 andle overlays). The below chart is M15 for entry. I think I have identified the fat cat. But I didn't see any areas of entry. Any thoughts on what I could have done differently?

try and draw shorter lines, your make more difficult spotting what extreme you are considering.. the gbpjpy 15 chart is not very clear

Here is my chart for EJ. I drew what I thought was the H1 fat cat but I think I missed a higher one. If I had noticed it before, I could have found an entry. But I would appreciate any comments.

I tried putting in a smaller image but it is hard to read. Sorry.

And I dislike using shorter lines since the angle of the lines change (no longer horizontal) as I change TFs. Annoying.

for a fat cat you need at least 3 CC ..
for longs: red CC followed by red CC(idealy with the close below previous CC extreme) followed by a green CC that closes above the first CC extreme ... hope this makes sense
like so Image

Spa, I agree except that entry seems like it can be made before the close of the 3rd CC as long as the single TF candle closes back over the fat cat line. Like in the example below...

I decided to use H1 candles to show what I am seeing. This is a little different from what I showed before. I am relying on H4 candles to determine fat cat here.

All of MO's examples are consecutive candles for close over/under.
