From what I have seen and based on my beliefs, the leader / follower concept is not as important as the other things that are useful using the 3 x CC method.

Because TIME is involved with CC creation a leader / follower CC can easily get thrown off.

I think i see it now.

Thanks

That is exactly how I would see it.

You have a longer CC close over "something" and subsequent CC's not closing over "something"

That is easier to understand than if a CC within the 3 CC's is leading or following...

thanks pebbletrader,

another prob is the definition of closing over as in over the top...to me it means above..the line...but when on one side and closeing over a line it could be going from above to below....thus creating a close over the line....
i think this might sum up the confusion?

I tend to use "close over a line" regardless of if it is from:

below the line to above the line

or

above the line to below the line.

Just before that close over the line, price was continually closing higher. Then start to see some of the signs that MO pointed out and determine a "something" line. We will all draw it somewhat differently but it doesn't matter on it's precision because it can be drawn in different places and still make money, which is why it is called "something" due to it's discretionary placement. But it will be at some point where price closes over a line where it shouldn't if price where going higher. Thus we then start to look for an entry if we believe price is not closing higher than it should be closing lower.

Not sure if this is considered a dragon entry. From what I can tell it might be. Picked up 29 pips before I had to get ready for work.

Sorry about the crappy picture above. Gotta figure out how to post a clearer image. Anyone care to give a newby some tips on better chart images?

Thanks!!
