I ran some figures and while its not impossible I don't have the patience for 400 pips trades. Better off doing what laksh is doing.

Inspired by the essence of that thread, 4 days ago I started a little fun project with £50. High leverage scalping DAX30 and EU. Aiming 25% per day. It's so fun..

If you want 1:500 lev account, I can open an additional account with 100 bucks and give you the login details to try your version of rags to riches on HTF or LTF. Broker is FCA regulated, based in London. Spreads are much better than Oanda! If you reach $100K, 80 to 20 share. 80 to you, 20 to me :-)

What do you say?

I was a CPO at one time and I learned the hard way people are a pain when you are managing their money. It didn't matter if I was up or down. Needless to say I don't trade other people's money/accounts anymore. Its not personal but I must decline the offer.

I like the leverage and spread however for HTF it shouldn't be an issue. I figure about a 131 pip min. stop loss. IDK I have not worked it all out yet. Its only a concept right now.

OK. It is fine.

From that rags to riches thread, my impression was that an account requires a high leverage (of course, unless one employs a work around and different strategy). Since US residents have a max limit of 1:50 lev, I offered to open that 1:500 leverage account.

I did not see it as managing my money, I saw it like trying something fun as 100 bucks is cheaper than buying a round of drinks :-)

Anyways, I am up for trying it on my own by working together (posting pre trades and post trades on HTF) as you mentioned in your earlier post. 8)

Its just 4 days and too early.... my scalping rags to riches fun project is off to a decent start...if only I showed some patience and skipped a trade during news, it would have been +2 NET digs in 4 days! Funny, no profession has more Would've, Could've, Should've uttered than trading!

Thank you.

The biggest orders I have done as of date is 1.65 mio. Lol, my stomach churns for the first couple of minutes for orders above 1 mio.
Funny thing is, stomach churn used to be for 100K orders around a year ago!! I will have to grow psychologically to a different level to handle those 10 mio sizes.

Competing with the Self to push own boundaries is lot of fun that I thought.

All the best to your rags to riches project.

That is a hurdle. You mind will start playing games as your order size increases. I though of at one point trading a $100 account that is attached to my other accounts. That way I only ever look at the $100 account and trade that.

I gave up on the rags 2 riches. I figure I'll stick to what I know and research Algos to make life easier.

Hi Alias , a couple questions ,if you don't mind ....you have the atr on your charts, how important do you consider it for your entries & exits ?. Also , have you had any difficulty exiting large positions (20 + ) lots with 1 order . For me ,orders that large seem to cover in pieces ,(5 or less ) at a time .(Maybe it's my broker , or that I'm using market orders ? ) Thx
