Excuse the handwriting, I'm using a rollerball mouse. . .
Where people attempt longs/shorts is where people take profit.
Where people take profit is where people attempt longs/shorts.
Let that sink in.
In purple, I marked what other people might be thinking:
- "I'm taking profit because I expect price to reverse"
they took profit and that level was used by someone else to attempt a long.
- price went up, someone attempted a long, another person took profit, yet another took profit on the down candles where the previous two long attempts were made.
Now the longs are at square 1, there is a green candle, what are they thinking? attempt a long? right?
- strong green candle. . ."take profit!" . . .black bars then gut check the ballsy bulls.
Do you see what I'm saying. . .
Where people attempt longs/shorts is where people take profit.
Where people take profit is where people attempt longs/shorts.
Patterns (attempt areas and profit taking)
Breakouts (gut checking ballsy bulls/bears)
There is nothing else, no YouTube videos required, just think through your trades!

Successful.
First entry was and the Entry line and added on at the arrow. Took profit on both at T2.

Those were both nice profit taking and attempt areas

Igazi.. If you were in this trade, where would you take profit and why?

Since I only use closing prices, and am not an 'all-in all-out' trader:
1) a strong move, a large separation between closing prices
2) the higher 'z' level of the pattern
3) an honest attempt out of profit taking
4) previous profit taking levels
these would all be fine places to unwind.
Given 1 and 2, T3 would be nice as well.
