Rags to Riches

I may try something similar. I'll have to work out the specs on 50:1 leverage and $25 risk twice. I'm guessing about $200 to $300. I need some practice at HTF trading so we will see what happens.

So back to this project. I really want to do it but my HTF might not cut it. Maybe some others might want to try it also and we can work together.

I looked at some leverage and figure $100 to start and take it to $100k. Rags to Riches!

We can post pretrades and post trades since its HTF.

Inspired by the essence of that thread, 4 days ago I started a little fun project with £50. High leverage scalping DAX30 and EU. Aiming 25% per day. It's so fun..

If you want 1:500 lev account, I can open an additional account with 100 bucks and give you the login details to try your version of rags to riches on HTF or LTF. Broker is FCA regulated, based in London. Spreads are much better than Oanda! If you reach $100K, 80 to 20 share. 80 to you, 20 to me :-)

What do you say?

I was a CPO at one time and I learned the hard way people are a pain when you are managing their money. It didn't matter if I was up or down. Needless to say I don't trade other people's money/accounts anymore. Its not personal but I must decline the offer.

I like the leverage and spread however for HTF it shouldn't be an issue. I figure about a 131 pip min. stop loss. IDK I have not worked it all out yet. Its only a concept right now.

OK. It is fine.

From that rags to riches thread, my impression was that an account requires a high leverage (of course, unless one employs a work around and different strategy). Since US residents have a max limit of 1:50 lev, I offered to open that 1:500 leverage account.

I did not see it as managing my money, I saw it like trying something fun as 100 bucks is cheaper than buying a round of drinks :-)

Anyways, I am up for trying it on my own by working together (posting pre trades and post trades on HTF) as you mentioned in your earlier post. 8)

Its just 4 days and too early.... my scalping rags to riches fun project is off to a decent start...if only I showed some patience and skipped a trade during news, it would have been +2 NET digs in 4 days! Funny, no profession has more Would've, Could've, Should've uttered than trading!

I thought the guy risked 50% to make 100%?
That will be tuff with 50:1 leverage.

Lets see.
$100 account.
Risk $50
@50 cents a pip ($100 required margin)
100 pip sl
200 pip target.

Thats not too bad actually.

Is my math right?

Only have to make 200 pips with a 100 pip sl if "all in"?

Hmmmmmm

Not gonna work with $100.
If the first trade is a loss I could not take a 2nd trade to get back to b/e as NU requires $74 margin for 50 cent pips.

At least @1:2 risk reward.

With AU you could double your account risking 34% if targeting 1:3 risk/reward.
AND still have enough margin for a 2nd go at it.

NU 1:3 for a double
Noticed ucad is exaxtly $200 margin for every $1 a pip.
NU is least but also 300 would take a while to aquire.
Turtle.
