Using FTMO numbers on a 100k account for easy math.
1:100 leverage
Based on $10 a point or pip.

EURUSD needs $1038 of margin
US30 needs $6730 of margin
US500 needs $1833 of margin

Max margin on EURUSD $960 per pip
Max margin on US30 $148 per point
Max margin on US500 $545 per point

Compared to US30
EURUSD is 1/4 as volatile
US500 is 1/8 as volatile

EurUsd
12 pips so far.
I think I'm good today.
This site has been giving me issues again.
Seems like it runs better when I am logged out.

Hey Alias.. The site is running reaaalllyyy slow today.

Anyway.. I was eying a short on GER30.. Unfortunately did not take the trade. Lost confidence.
I had a H1 ZL drawn that I wanted to trade to.. As you can see 20 minutes prior to the candle that hit the ZL, price kinda stalled. I could not pull the trigger. Should coulda woulda been another 20+ points in the bag.

Took an earlier trade short and bagged 20ish points.

I don't think I marked all the S@D in there.

Hi Alias, on your higher time frame such as 5m, 15m or 1hr are you doing similar S&D markup to identify points of interest or do you have some other sort of point of interest?

Compare other timeframe S@D with current for confluence.

I must of miscalculated US500 needs $792 in margin per $10 a point.
Max margin would be $1262 not a bad option
