Made 41 pips over London.
And that is after commissions.

I think I can make more $$$$$$ on EURUSD than US30.

I'm thinking about getting that 4 million from 5ers only trading the EURUSD. We will see.

Yes. The hot item for now is EU due to the problems in Europe. Putin is bad but pips is good.

What?
I leave EU after trading it for months and now your telling me it's ON THE MOVE? LOL
Those small 500 point daily candles on u30 are just nuts.
Lots n Lots of 'opportunity'.

You're right. The pip count is huge on US30. It's good for you. Not for me though.
With 1:500, it's a no brainer, pro. EU has gotten a lot cheaper and it provides small SL.

Those 500 points move... what's the SL for that? What's the spread is like? 1.4 points? Compared that to a practically 0 pips. Now let's do the math.

US30 @$33500
2% per R ($20)
SL 6.6 points
TP 330 points
Base capital $1,000
Contract size 3.03 contracts
Leverage 100x
Required margin $1,015.05 (not enough margin)
Target achieved at 50R
Total profit $1,000

EURUSD @$1.0350
2% per R ($20)
SL 2 points
TP pips 100 pips
Base capital $1,000
Contract size 1 lot
Leverage 500x
Required margin $207 (more than enough)
Target achieved at 50R
Total profit $1,000

With just 100x lev, you can't even start to compare coz there's simply not enough money to execute this trade scenario on US30.

Now let's bump it up a little further...

US30 @$33500
2% per R ($20)
SL 6.6 points
TP 330 points
Base capital $1,000
Contract size 3.03 contracts
Leverage 200x (available only to non-US citizens)
Required margin $507.525
Target achieved at 50R
Total profit $1,000

EURUSD @$1.0350
4% per R ($40)
SL 2 pips
TP pips 100 pips
Base capital $1,000
Contract size 2 lot
Leverage 500x
Required margin $414 (more than enough)
Target achieved at 50R
Total profit $2,000

This trade scenario can happen but since you're a U.S. citizen then you can say good bye to it. Plus, with less money, I can double the R from 2% to 4%. US30 bites the dust...

Now then, what if I get sub pip entry (ok, let's just say 1 pip)?

EURUSD @$1.0350
4% per R ($40)
SL 1 pips
TP pips 100 pips
Base capital $1,000
Contract size 4 lot
Leverage 500x
Required margin $828 (still enough money for this)
Target achieved at 100R
Total profit $4,000

So then, with the most likely scenario, you can't go with 100x coz there's just not enough money but on the other hand, I can go with 4% per R and make 4x the amount with less money than the required margin for US30 which is $1,015.05.

Hot item doesn't simply mean pip/point count. A lot of other things must be considered as well. Capital efficiency is one of them. Market movement is also one of them and US30 is not the only one getting a boost to its daily range. It's all across the board. Check the other trading instruments as well to confirm.

So, pound for pound it's EU all the way. For me that is.

I didnt do all the math but I noticed i can get better value from EU right now since it is near parity. I did some testing and I was missing out on 50% to 100% more returns trading US30.

That's a lot, man.

Yeah, since it's hovering the parity it became better. People are fighting for EU to get lower and people are fighting for it to go up. This is an interesting arena.

I originally had apiary fund but they have a proprietary platform and were stingy with the funding. They actually had a Risk manager that you had to meet with to "level up". Probably good for newbies.

Then there is FTMO, MFF, 5%ers
I kinda feel I can make more with 5%ers $4 million instant funding account even though leverage is 1:10. Problem is I will need to dedicate my focus to build up to that in a reasonable time. Then I can gross $1 million a month before the split.

Here is a trade I took and took profit just now.
H1 GER30 chart, entered at lower ZL and took profit at the upper ZL.
+13% return.

Not 100% sure I've done this right :-k

So I drew my ZL's for the next trade.. I have 2 but not sure which one is the correct one or how to refine or gain confidence in the right one.. Hope that makes sense.

I drew the lines after the high of the day was made. In hindsight the correct ZL to trade off, going long was off the bottom ZL.
