A few US30 scalps, 20, 13, and 9 points. Tack a 17 on that

Re: Aliassmith Beats a "Dead Horse"
About 380 points trading US30 4 days this week.
For a few out there this isn't much.
For the bulk of people out there it's plenty.
Yet for others its the best thing since cheese cake.
My goal recently was to find the right size compared to my output and risk to make 1% a day. I ended up settling on 50 points equals 1% .
Looks like I made 7.6% this week. When I was trading more aggressively this would have been 27%. Trading more aggressive on a PC isn't bad. There is more control over everything.
I have been lazy recently and trade exclusively on my Samsung 22 ultra (big phone) . The problem is MT5 on a phone is clunky and US30 can move quick sometimes. Long story short I gave up some top end gains for convenience. Its also a curse. I've said plenty of times I was done trading but the dang phone is with me 24/7. Sometimes I look for trades on the weekend.
Another long story short I think 30% a month is pretty nice playing an app on my phone. It pays more than "candy crush" or whatever the kids are playing these days.

Because I only scalp. I missed this simple resistance becomes support. There was a 10 point entry on the M1 and it moved 100 points in no time. 10R for ratio traders.
I scalped 17 points

30 points yesterday on NQ. 50point tp, one trade went 40 stopped out +20, the other went 30 stopped out +10 to then got to tp.
I would also trade DOW or ES just only one screen open for convenience. No trades today, contractors doing renos and family is home.
Might try for a trade at the close.

It looks like a 3-range break would be a good strategy on the US30 daily chart.

I like watching Oliver Velez videos. I don't know what to think about his business model. Its kinda high priced and I am not sure he doesn't prey on people who can't afford it.
I also feel if you watch him trade live vs. What he teaches you will get better value.

True. His ideas are what I'm after or if I'm already familiar with it then it's just like a reminder for me.
