Damn I fought 2 days in a row and managed to net 2%. Today I hit 1% in 10 minutes and shut it down. Maybe I can use some mental heath time. :(

I might trade tomorrow but Im heading to the beach for the next week+. I think between the waves and daiquiris I am going to study every post Don_xyZ made and see if I can adapt it to ThePropTrading account $500,000 @ 1:100 leverage, 80% split.

I agree, scalping is really draining.

You should be making millions every quarter or two with $500k and do some serious charity for the rest of your life.

So you are saying trading similar to you on "ThePropTrading" account with 1:100 leverage I should be making millions per quarter?

If thats the case you can get two $500k accounts with them as long as you make different trades on them.

I am basically looking for a swing(ish) type of strategy to use with them while scalping/micro swinging with MFF/FTMO. They have the better costs for scalping.

I guess I could always use 1 ThePropTrading $500k account and 1 MFF $300k account and copy the same trades on both. Then still scalp with FTMO $500k.

300% in 3 months would be $2.4 million. Plus my scalping fun $$$.

I don't need all that money but my kids will love me more.

Would be fun asking for a $2,000,000 payout from a prop company.

I'm not familiar with any of those companies and their full set of rules as I don't have an account with any of them.
But yeah, I guess the limitation would very much cripple the potential gains.

I don't like ftmo and the gang. Repeated this many times already but you sure are the missionary type lolz

So what's the deal with this "as long as you make different trades on them"? I thought you could have several accounts with them and trade the same stuff?

Strange thing.... I told my best bud "you might not need the money but I'm sure your kids will".

$2M payout? Yes, you do that. Just be sure wifey get some first before your kids rofl

MFF and ThePropTrading have about the same limitations.
1:100 leverage
5% loss in 1 day closes your account
10% max loss closes your account
No rules beyond that.

You can have multiple maxed accounts but a different set of trades must take place on the accoints at the same broker.

You can have 2 x $300k with MFF
You can have 2 x $500k with ThePropTrading

I tried to trade today but it didn't start very good.
Halfway my day I could see that I was missing the setups and taking the bad trades.
Looking back at my 4 losing trades I thought..."why??" (2 losers were valid trades, the other 2 mwah...wouldn't take them again)
By then I already lost 2% of my trial ftmo account. (Yesterday I also lost .5%)

I wanted to stop trading for the day but tried one more on GU after reading Don's post.
D1 going down, H1 trending down, H1 at a swinglevel and price got rejected above it....
Took a deadhorse entry right on that swinglevel....I took 7R (exit at a h1 Z-Line). Also took some on the EU so I'm fine again.
Thx Don. =D>

My trading is a bit wobbly... like a young kid learning to walk, never know when you'll fall down.
I'm progressing but some days it's frustrating because sometimes you work really hard and get nothing in return and other day's you get paid handsomely for your efforts.

In that case you should add 7 times more. The thing with monstrous R is, you must force "you" to see "you" getting it. And then your brain will start to figure out the how. There was a time where I think 10R in 1 trade is crazy but now 40R or 50R in 1 trade is no longer special. I wish you and everyone in this forum the same.

Finally used my computer to trade.
Using S/D and trying to get multi-R moves.
Not very successful so far.
A 1.5R and a 4R
