The bootcamp is good stuff if you dont have to have everything right now.

This is an avenue for someone to make a living by only making 3% a month. Or someone who makes 5% a week and gets $4 M in a few months.

If you can make 10% a month then FTMO or MFF are a good way to go to get a jump start on getting some cash flow.

10% a month also gets you through 5ers bootcamp in 2 months and up 2 levels a month.

Many variables to consider. Depends on the type of trader you are.

Yeah. And as much as I like prop firms, at some point I think it gets a little to much. They are amazing for new traders and people who want to make a little extra. But I'm not trying to follow 4 different sets of rules and what not. There was even one firm that had assets that you could access on the platform but weren't allowed to trade and would violate you. Stupid.

Also. Found some old post of yours were you were using 2 pip stops. Looks like you have been doing it fir awhile. So much good info on these forums

I agree you can have too many rule sets to deal with and mess up.

I believe prop firms are good for various levels of traders. If you are beyond doing demo, then the bootcamp is about $100 and you have 12 months to test yourself by getting 18%. You probably are not ready for trading if you cannot do 18% in a year. To make it worthwhile I'm thinking 25%+ per year.
Year 1 you get to $125,000 @ 50/50 = Intern year  $15,000/year
Year 2 you get to $300,000 @ 60/40 = Promotion $45,000/year
Year 3 you get to $1,500,000 @ 70/30 = Boss $250,000/year
Year 4 you get to $4,000,000 @ 80/20 = CEO $800,000/year

An opportunity that cost you about $300 total.
An opportunity for someone with a sub-par return if you listen to everyone on the web.
Costs Less than college.
This is the information I try to get out there when I post.
I know I can make stupid gains, but I want someone out there that makes 25%/year to know there is a place for them.
In 4 years someone could start sending you $70,000 checks each month without the need to make double, triple, or quadruple digit returns monthly.

I have used 2 pips stops before. I went through various SL ideas. I was not comfortable using 2 pips because I was worried about my accuracy taking a hit. I ended up making them too big which affects R and profitability. An arbitrary SL size isn't the answer for me. When trading a sub 1R game like I play a lot, I am making it more difficult on myself. If I get my SL down to 2 pips to 7 pips on average instead of 10 pips it makes the game easier.

A 10 pips SL with an 8 pips gain is sub 1R.
If I get that same trade down to 7 pips SL now I am above 1R
If you same trade can actually use a 2 pips SL now I am at 4R

This is all without increasing size. There will be opportunities to increase size without taking on much extra risk

It is better overall efficiency to not be lazy with SL choice.

The Math:
If you average .5R you need over 67%+ accuracy to break even.
If you average 1R you need over 50%+ accuracy to break even. <- I hover around 1R with 70%+ accuracy
If you average 1.5R you need over 40%+ accuracy to break even. <- I want to get to at least here with 70%+ accuracy
If your average 2R you need over 34%+ accuracy to break even

What is the real world translation mean?
example: If you target 5 pips and your SL is also 5 pips this is 1R
out of 100 trades
70%-win rate total 350 pips
30% will lose 150 pips
This leaves a net of 200 pips

Goal Example: if the target is 6 pips and the SL is 4 pips this is 1.5R
out of 100 trades
70%-win rate total 420 pips
30% will lose 120 pips
This leaves a net of 300 pips

That simple change is a 50% profitability increase.
Going over my data and the charts I find that it's always been there, but I didn't execute that way.

Based on a $100,000 account @ 10 pips = 1% that is a $10,000 raise per month.

I'll leave it there for now, It's dinner time.

I was asked how I use S/D.

MightyOne said this "The MARKET exists to eliminate PROFIT in ALL timeframes!"

Now I study the charts and look for that.

I've appreciated a lot of your posts here, but these breakdowns that you occasionally throw out are often real gems because they reveal the plain truth behind what we are doing (or are trying to do).

I see the same things you guys see on the internet. With this many people who double their accounts everyday the banks should be shut down.
I am breaking down things I have come across in hopes you don't spend your last dime on worthless training GURU stuff.
I am trying to give ideas on how to improve as I am doing the same.
I try to speak to people at various stages in this journey.
I am trying to show how this can be done from the actual trading to how to get capital to make the dream real.

So, if I have ever posted something that helped someone it was worth it.

I have been researching some ideas since ICT recent vids and Don_xyZ has shown up.
EURUSDM5 chart
I think I have a bit of Sam Seiden, ICT, and FTR in the pic.
Part of this idea is to have a minimum SL of 2 pips and no more than 7 pips
Also, I am working with 1% = 11 pips based on 1 prop
The second prop is 1R = $1000 based on $100,000 account

Arrow #1 -4 SL 4
Arrow #2 +20 SL 4 5R
Arrow #3 -2 SL 2
Arrow #4 -2 SL 2
Arrow #5 +16 SL 2 8R
Arrow #6 +11 SL 2 5R

only 50% accuracy
about 33 pips net = 3% for first prop.
or 15% / $15,000 based on the second prop.

Yes. The first 2 boxes are actually RTM Orthodox FTR and also the red line. Drop down to smaller tf and you'll see the crux.

RTM's FTR is actually Sam's Drop Base Drop/ Rally Base Rally but IF put his own conditions to them IMO.

As for ICT, still learning his stuff but the yt vids simply fall short. Need more material to get the hang of it.

My daily anchor trade and regular anchor trade is a waiting game and people just hate waiting lolz

Before that, there are 2 other RTM patterns. FL (Flag Limit) and QM.

The blue box is the FL and the yellow is QM. Price failed to go to those patterns (for now).

EURUSDM5

This pair still pays off. I still don't put too many 2 pips SL.
seems like 2 to 7 is more common now.
Profits taking has been larger and it hurts my soul because I lose more. :(
It is probably because I am trying to break some psychological behaviors.
Nothing fancy, based on DEADhorse

Trade #1 +5 @ 3.5 SL 1.4R
Trade #2 +6 @ 3 SL 2R
Trade #3 -6 -1R
Trade #4 +10 @ 4.5 SL 2.2R
Trade #5 +8 @ 5.5 SL 1.4R
No Trade
Trade #6 +8 @ 6.5 SL 1.2R PA made me exit at least the R is greater than 1R
Trade #7 +16 @ 4 SL 4R
Average R:R = 2R which is better than my 1R I had in the past.

47 pips in about 6 hours. Or 11R
1:10 leverage is 11 pips = 1% (4%) $128,000 if 5ers is maxed
1:100 leverage 1R = 1% (11%) If you boosted your FTMO up to $500k and 90/10 split that is $49,500

Deadhorse is crazy it freaks the market.

I think you will break your comfort zone soon and find your new play.
