I'm not really back, but I had to post this.
Here is a pic to show the power of
scaling in, adding, stacking. The P/L
is from a eurusd short after it made that
huge move up a few days ago. Less
than 300 pips moved.  :D

ok the pic is too big I'll need to scale it down
to upload it.

131% return on account with one trade in
one day. The POWER of adding can be
incredible.

That's awesome man. I thought I did good with that trade setup, but you did almost double what I did. Thanks for sharing with us.

best and worst.

I'll do this over a few posts and I'll start with

It was a learning experience for sure. I learned about a few
things as they pertain to me. I tried to trade without a
STOPLOSS and it was an eye opener.

From my experience this is a method that works well until
it doesn't , and when it doesn't work it can be a really bad
thing. It is right up there with making your stoploss bigger.

Looking at what I was doing, I believe it is important to
have defined risk and take that stoploss I would end up
losing a lot more $$$ which made it more difficult to recover.
If I would of had set stoploss and took them my account would
of definitely been larger.

In my trading going forward I know that I must have a stoploss
with reasonable defined risk.

Moving on to another STOPLOSS concern that I
tested.

Moving your stoploss to protect your profits!!!!!!

This one is kind of a mixed bag of results, but I
still have to give this one to MO.

"Take your profit or take your loss. but don't move
your stoploss"

It kind of depends on your trade management style.
For me, I would be way better off taking a profit when
I think it looks like a good time to do so.

Having a break even stoploss get hit after being up a
nice amount is like being kicked in the groin with a
pointy tip shoe.

I would be up 30 pips and move my stoploss to break
even and get an alert later that my stoploss has been hit.
This pattern would happen like clockwork. Moving
my stoploss to protect profits is something that didn't
work well for me.
