Rat trades are about WAITING.

TRADING IS ABOUT WAITING.

Loved the video TRO.

a) 3-bar pattern where bodies are consecutively larger

Price will either race towards S/R or slow down when it draws near to it (that is the theory anyway):

One of the reasons I have CC in shifts is to find these patterns.

This is interesting...
I can see the patterns you talk of, they are clear to me, but how do you use this with rat trading? Is it that you wait to see the pattern occur then simply take the next Long rat reversal?
And are you looking for EITHER pattern to occur or do you need to see BOTH as illustrated in the charts you posted.

Thanks

If I talk about indicators on the other forums, they will usually ban me. The internet is NOT FREE! Most forums protect their turf.

I use MT4 from Alpari and FXDD.

You can download the free indicators from the Motherlodes

http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=17490#17490

The donational indicators are sent as a THANK YOU when someone makes a $50 or more donation to my PayPal account.

Specify 2012, 2011 or 2010 so I will know which batch to send.

The patterns are like feelers for S/R levels.

S/R & 20 pips from the daily low is background information that helps you trade the rat.

"Now, 2 patterns of market behavior happen on a regular basis:

1) the price breaks to new high's (or low's)

2) the price reverses from new high's (or low's)

Rat Trade

A paper trade without indicators, patterns, fundamentals, or Guru guidance. Just the simple rules of the simple DTB rat trading. Red & Green horizontal lines used for visual reference.

Thanx for the info about inicators. I already found it :-)
I know the method is simple and theoretically you don't need them. I want them anyway.
I just started trying it and made some mistakes (Yale + Greed !!!) but found that if i stick conservatively to all the points, i'm bound to be on the plus.
As TRO keeps repeating, choosing one color and pair is essential, but i can do it only when i beat my greed. That's deep. I mean to earn money, you have to stop wanting it, even stop considering it. It's not monkey or RAT, it's ZEN :-)
