1) WHY YOU ENTER A TRADE DOESN'T MATTER. IT HAS NO EFFECT ON THE OUTCOME OF THE TRADE
2) THE OUTCOME OF ANY ONE TRADE IS A RANDOM EVENT
3) THE ONLY THINGS YOU CAN CONTROL ARE WHEN YOU ENTER, ENTRY DIRECTION, HOW MUCH YOU LOSE, AND WHEN YOU QUIT TRADING FOR THE SESSION.
If you keep these constant then you can make randomness work FOR you rather than against you.
DOES ANYONE SEE THIS?

A book has already been written on the subject - "Trading In The Zone" by Mark Douglas.koolbreeze wrote:I SEE IT . . I believe it . . . I know how to do it . . .
The problem for me is consistently DOING IT.
Why . . . I still don't know for sure.
I think a good book could be written on the subject.
All the best,
Ric

RicG,
I've read and re-read "Trading In The Zone" and "The Disciplined Trader" by Mark Douglas. Many of the things he talked about are part of what "I SEE and Believe and know how to do".
Yet at times I still break rules and engage in sabotaging behavior while trading.
That is my big question, Why?
Can you tell I've had a tough week trading?
