Following This Correctly?

Postby pdmoney- » Wed Aug 05, 2009 7:06 pm

OK, so There is the Yellow 3 Semafor I have been waiting for on the HI chart....However it says "Do Not Reverse". I looked at the M15 chart and I am pretty sure it did NOT say "Do Not Reverse" when it was near the top there. Seems like I missed a draining opportunity as the M15 chart clearly opened up the drains! Anyone else see that one? If it says Do Not Reverse on the H1 but not on the M15 do you take the M15 trade?

The H1 chart is used only to determine if a pair is "in play". If the current or previous H1 candle has a semafor, then it is in play.

You get your entry signals from the M15 chart.
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU TRADE, IT'S HOW YOU TRADE IT!

PD, DTB takes abit of practice to watch it i do not not know if you have alread looked at the anatomy of drain the banks but look for it in TRO numerous post

Also it took a bit of watching and patience to understand what else to look for entry but once you get it it will come

I have squiglys that assist me in my traiding TRO frowns on it but it is something that is my comfort level and helps me determine if entry is viable or not.

As for my trades I see 1 on my H1 with 3 on 15m i can go away with 10 to 15 pips

im currently listing all my DTB trades to show effectiveness and so far I'm seeing profitability even in lower timeframes.

be patient with yourself and the system watch, if you want watch the lower time frames to get sense of when the signals show for short or long entry

as for missing the drain i do belive you may could have entered at the fail attemt to go up again at 1.4438 15m and still had about 30 pips before it denoted 2 15m semafore on same time frame

i could go on about what ifs but you must be patient and learn what to look for in the DTB

Good trading!!

DTB Follow Up

Postby pdmoney- » Thu Aug 06, 2009 5:21 pm

I have been reading all of TRO's and DTB threads and picking up bits and pieces here and there. I can see how you need to watch this diligently in order to get the best setups. I have the H1, M15 and even the M5 all right next to each other on a dual monitor setup. I am thinking I may need to set up another whole system with multiple monitors to watch for all the signals! Its a great system. I have been trading a demo account for a few days with some very promising results. If you guys havent taken advantage of a FREE $50 IBFX.com account to trade this with you are crazy!!! Look for it!

I've been trading DTB from yesterday using H1 and M15 chart as TRO said.
However, it looks like 'Ok to buy' or 'Ok to sell' are rare. How many buying and selling time normally occur a day? I traded once yesterday and once today.

Also, if the distance between buy and sell trigger is less than 10 pips, it's better to wait? Or trigger distance doesn't matter with trade?

You do not need M5 chart for DTB.

jkook the ok to buy or sell signals are far in few but as i have told pd you need to watch the and learn first

as the signals may be far and few but those are for the perfect alignments of all indicators integrated into DTB.

there are other ways to enter market watch be patient the semas do signal and there are other way to watch for the entry

my minimum trade signals are 1 on H1 and 2 or 3 on 15m this match can garner 10pips minimum my exit is when 15 gives me a sema or reverse signal

as for your two trades did u profit or loose?

Hi

I asked these questions in pm but Mr TheRumpledOne wanted me to
ask them on forum , so these questions are simple for u and important
for me cause i'm new user.

I want to use your system ( Draining The banks ) , i started to reading
topics about it even old version and also anatomy of draining banks and
draining countinue and.....
I understand most of them but i need more details to use it,

What i learned:

I know i must see 1H time frame and if i see 1 or 2 or 3 semafor on
current candle or previous then i change time frame to 15m ,
there is a dynamic support and resistance and two triggers for entering
point , so :

1- Drain bank system is work just for reversal not direct , right?
so we allways enter when price is reverse?

2- Do i need to realy to look at H1 Bias and D1 ?
what if for example H1 on long and the price trigger short price?
can i enter (Sell) trade or i just must trade on long (buy ) trigger
because H1 is on long? do H1 and D1 must on same direction ?
if not what is the risk ?

3- I want to know about Trigger prices, The right Trigger is:

For Short Trigger : when price goes upper than trigger price but not
break dynamic resistance and then when the price back and touch
the trigger price i can extacly at same time enter the market (sell)?
Or i must wait to close the current candle?
If price back and break dynamic again , then what?

For Long Trigger: when price goes lower trigger price but couldnt
break dynamic support and then back up and touch the triger price
now its entering point (buy)?
Or i must wait candle to be closed?

Trigger price must be when price back and touch those triggers or
even in same direction is right? ( Touching Short Trigger from up and
Touching Long Trigger from lower that ? )

4- when it says: "wait" i must wait and not trade , right?

5- when it says : "Do not reverse " , i must not trade reverse and
it means in that direction i could ?

6- it will be good to know when its right time for trade something
like this message " Trade now"

7- when it says Support/Resistance Breakout i must wait , right?
i must wait to close that breakout candle ? if yes and candle close
upper trigger long or lower trigger short , then on next candle what
i shoud? i must wait again that candle trigger again those price?
if that candle doesnt triger and back up or down what?

thx

Payam27

Thorough questions

Is it just for reversal trading, I dont think it is just for reversal as that is why it gives you the Bias on H1 and D1, what it does give you is an opportunity to enter the market on strong signals now wether you are scalping or looking for longer trades you need to look for different signals.

My forte is reversal to take 20-10pips, I trade GPB/USD with the bias is good for 20pips against is 10pips there are drawdowns but I usually enter a second or third position and move tp accordingly to avg price.

DTB must be traded with what you see RIGHT AT THE MOMENT, with bias as soon as I have 3 15M 1 H1 i enter dont wait for triggers just enter majority of the time this is a 10-15 pip take 3 2 can account for a good 20pip or more.

Now having said how I trade as per TRO instructions, there are also ways to make pips on smaller TF but first and foremost watch and learn first,

the signals that are given, do not reverse, wait and support breakout all these are there to assist you in making a decision this is not a system that is foolproof OK to short or long are far and few but are only given if all the indicators are truly sure but once again it is to be taken with a grain of salt as not all indicated entries are a winner there is some waiting to be don at time but form experience this is very effective.

Just need discipline as in all systems of trading.

also look around there are a other traders that have posted on how they use DTB to make them effective traders.

Warning DTB does not tell you when to necessarily exit so learn to watch the semas i usually exit at 15m sema if it comes quick.
