The time of day doesn't matter.

What matters most is the color of the candles.

It could be minutes, hours or no trade that day.

Today is an excellent example of what you're talking about. If you look at the yen, it dropped about 300 pips today, the hourly candle for 3pm is a hammer, so why would i get in now! i'll wait for some confirmation on the 60 min, or whatever timeframe i choose to get a short signal. Same applies to the other 2 majors.

The euro has 3 candles with tall wicks, indicating bearish even though the daily is bull

The chf has a quasi hammer on the hourly

I'll look for high probability trades. Feedback appreciated

NO, I DON'T THINK THAT AT ALL!!

I have respect for my fellow traders. Each of us is somewhere on the learning curve.

One must keep searching for the answers to their questions.

So don't hesistate to ask if you don't understand something.

additional mt4 visual indicator...

Postby Accrete » Tue Feb 27, 2007 9:16 pm

Hi all, had a PM from a fellow trader requesting the indicator also show the daily Hi Low... so here you have it. Also, if you wish to download the trillion dollar days template you'll have everything set to go without any fiddling (just drop the .tpl file into the templates folder).

The below image is a screenshot with BOTH the original $TrillionDollarDays indicator and the modyfied $TrillionDollarDaysHL indicator. Place them into your indicators folder and you are good to go if you apply the template file found in the directory linked below.

Image has explanitory notes. DimGray = Session's Hi/Low
Green and FireBrick Horz.Lines are Open/Close of session
Aqua and Magenta Vert.Lines are O/C+10 pips

Enjoy!
Thom

All related indicators and files are in this new directory:
