OK, i've reread this thread from beginning to end... For the MT4 users i had posted some time ago a couple of indicators that visually mark the time frame we're talking about (3:59pm Eastern Time end of day). . .
And for doodles sake i post this image that contains the $TrillionDollarDays.mq4 indicator. It is defaulted to show the day at 4pm to 3:59pm. The Green line is the session open and the FireBrick is the session close. You will also see a Red and Blue line extending down/up from the purple-ending-vertical-marker. These are defaulted to 10 pips and can be any vertical length you with beyond the open/close of the modified daily candle. You can see that the white dotted vertical line is the regular day marked to begin at 5pm Easter Time on my 1worldForex feed...and the purple marker is the end of the day one hour before close of regular... got that? grin.
Here is the screen shot:
Hope some of you grab your $TrillionPips : )

I've thrown real money on it. It works but doesn't really fit my trading style. You definitely have to cut out if you even think the trade is setup against you because you're usually right. If the trade is going to be profitable, it will do it smoothly and relatively quickly. If it hangs around the entry for what I think is too long, i'll also exit, profit or loss. I would go insane making just one trade a day even if it grew my account 100 fold. But like I said, and you say, if you think too much this setup is not for you.

Hi TRO,
I am learning and these are mine first trades on the Forex...
However i am starting to trade the EURUSD with this method
and the following rules:
- EurUsd
- "daily" candles start at 2:58 PM EST
- TP=13 , SL=28
- only one trade x day
- 4 days x week (no friday close)
- Interactive Broker
I still have to fix:
- when to stop the strategy ?
- why do you prefer to trade the '3:58 PM EST' period?
- how use the statistics
(i.e. in order to discover:
- what is the best 'time period' for pair ?
- when start to trade a pair ?
- investigate on other pairs (i.e. the base stats on GBPUSD
are good but i have not the same results on GBPUSD as
on EurUSD .... )
For the base statistics, below my results. I run
the statistics on daily bar (Forex regular session).
I have not radascreen and I cannot use your indicator
could you post your base stats please ?
Thanks
Vittorio

Hi TRO
I am trading live with micro lots for now. so far the results have been positive. i'm tracking what kind of drawdown i experience to help me determine stops. right now i'm not using any (I know tsk tsk tsk) but with 1 micro, i can take the chance! so far with a 50 pip stop, i wouldn't have had a trade get stopped.
I'm still experimenting and need to do it with micros in order for me to follow through

Awesome indicator accrete!!
Accrete,
Thanks for the indicator!! it rocks!! I had to change the times to match 4pm on my broker...but that was easy.
I can't remember if any of the indicators you made evaluate the tick action after the close to confirm an entry or not?

Times to enter Trillion trades
TheRumpledOne wrote:http://www.forexmarkethours.com/
Forex trading hours, trading time:
New York opens 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST
Tokyo opens 7:00 pm to 4:00 am EST
Sydney opens 5:00 pm to 2:00 am EST
London opens 3:00 am to 12:00 noon EST
Hours when two sessions are overlapped:
New York and London ? 8:00 am ? 12:00 noon EST
Sydney / Tokyo ? 7:00 pm ? 2:00 am EST
London /Tokyo ? 3:00 am ? 4:00am EST
TRO,
So based on these session times, when, in your opinion are 2 other times to trade? Right now we have 4pm for the US session.....are there other close times that seem stable?
Thanks,
BP
