If you are setting stop losses in that range, then I suspect you are taking on way too much risk to make a profit, unless you are looking to make 80 to 200 pips on every trade. Far from being an expert, I suspect most of go thru the same thing when a trade goes against us.......hold on a bit too lon...

Much thanks.........was never good in school. I also suspect that if you want to "catch" more of these big moves, set the look back period for the dynamic fib lines shorter - say 5 to 8 periods and you will be able to play the big moves with more safety. Pretending that H1 is green and you...

Key things I have learned this week in less than 500 words, mainly by not doing the following 1. Stick to your basic rules - these are mine http://kreslik.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=12088#12088 . 2. When you get out of a trade, you are out of it. Don't get greedy and try to get back in. You will try...

Here is a question for you folks

how many look back periods are you folks using for the Dynamic Fibs. I have found that using shorter periods generates more resistance and support lines and hence more trading opps.

I try and stick to the concept as close as possible. While it may be possible to fudge it once in a while, All i need to do is test it once in a while and have it come back and bite me in the ass. For example, right now on 5M EurUS there are two green bars with a green H1. Third green bar starts to ...

Homework Homework Homework

Wrote these notes last night.....the first paragraph rambles a bit Here is the consistent pattern, regardless of H1 and D1 colour. Going in the direction of H1 and D1 colour is the optimal solution. Going with H1 color is ok as well. you can go against h1 and d1, but it is risky - you may get one fa...
