I'm not the 1st one to try to teach this here. Forum teaching has its downsides. Just because the pic from the MO archive and a post by, I think Aliassmith or Bredin with some programming code made it click for me, doesn't mean it will for anyone else. I am thankful that you are teaching even thoug...

....Any horizontal line within that zone is considered a zline..... Aha! That, I didn't know. But candles closing in opposite direction play a part in this. I guess because if this zone (eg support) is being created/tested/whatever, it's only a support if price reverses. Do you buy out of the rever...

They are just the point at which all held profits have been erased. It's a concept that in my mind should take no longer than 1 day to see and understand. There are years worth of posts here and they are not in chronological order. I see scores of posts where a line is drawn and someone says that's...

Here is the zline pic from the usd/cad trades. You asked about the level I used to determine that line. The bottom line is the long zline, correct? You didn't draw it on the m5 tf, correct? I think you drew it on h1 or m30. What I was wanting to see was what caused you to draw it where you did. You...

Come on MO, help me out here....lol Laugh_Smile Speaking of MO, a few days ago you wrote to someone that you were going to see if you could find a particular chart from MO (maybe from 2009?) that turned the light on for you. Did you ever get a chance to find that pic? Thanks, dude, you are definite...

Fx, your definition is different than mine. You need a close of a red candle higher than a open of a red candle. You cant verify that until you have a close of a green candle. I think I may have missed the proper definition of a zline. I thought it was just red candle closes and green candle closes...

If we are drawing bullish zlines on the H1, why wouldn't we draw it like this:

I hate to whine, but I'm an old fart and I still like to print stuff out and hold it in my hand.

Would it be too much to ask if we could use white or a light colored background on posted charts? I've just printed out LOTS of toner!!

Thanks for your consideration.

2 nice trades on usd/cad both based on 15 min zlines. Hey doji, looking at this chart it looks like the zline was defined way to the left of the chart beyond the left edge. could you put up a chart and mark 1) at what time you drew the zline (what was the last existing candle before you drew the zl...
