I am too lazy to read the entire thread so I am unsure if this has already been answered. When in a massive draw-down, it might be worth your while to keep trading but significantly reducing your trade size. You may be able to deplete your draw-down, to prevent it from getting bigger but it is gonna...

The minute a new person drops a link in their first couple of posts, it's pretty obvious.

If you're for real, welcome because this forum is definitely the home of some of the smarter traders on the Internet.

LOL!!

I don't understand why these people can't just stop with the selling and just get on with learning how to make money by trading itself!!

Is this what the losers of forex eventually do? Give up and sell?

People have to be willing to work for success in this business. If trading was its' own academic discipline, it would take several years to get a "degree" in it. Look at it that way. Of course the more you do your homework the faster you can accelerate.

I believe Robots can make money. However, it has to be a robot you made by yourself. I've built several versions of bots and my most recent version is bringing in approx 30%/month. I would never sell it for the bogus cheap prices you see on the Internet. Too much time, effort, research, stress and t...

I think it's great you guys all met up and I wish I could be at the next one.

I'm in Toronto, Canada so I know the likelihood of a gathering ever happening here is low. Let me know when the next one is and I may just fly down for one.

I want to buy Michel and TRO a beer (if they drink).

Lets stay back on topic guys!! This is a very good topic. I agree "5% of my margin" doesn't really make any sense because values of margin are dynamic and will move up and down with the market when the trade is entered. I prefer the concept of true-leverage by looking at my overall account...

Thanks guys Yeah adaseb you're exactly right. Screen time is the most important. I've realized that you can NOT devise a strategy that is based upon predicting the future. This basically means, FORGET candle formations, forget anything that attempts to tell you the future. Don't even try it will nev...
