Patch I am trading live with Alpari UK, and was doing mostly OK before this mistake. I posted 3 charts, in this thread from that trade, firt the M15 I entered on, then the D1 and H1 charts in response to a question about whether I had checked them. I think I need to work on my overall strategy and a...

Thanks for that suggestion BlackPearl I've attached the H1 and D1 charts from the time of the trade. There was no "Do Not Reverse" on the charts at the time of the trade. TRO had said in many places to use the H1 with a Semaphore as an indication that the pair is in play, then use the M15 ...

Got completely killed today on the GBPUSD - looked like a near perfect setup by the rules as I understand them, soon as I entered it broke out on me so fast I couldn't even beat Alpari UK requotes to close. Very dissappointed. Won't use this system again until I figure out what information I'm missi...

Re: Hey Tro

I do not decide that a semafor is not going to move. I look and see if it is moving. You trade the breakouts THEN you trade the reversals. Thanks for the Reply TRO If you could clarify for me: What do you mean by look and see if it is moving - I've seen them move by jumping over several candles fro...

Hey Tro

TRO Can you tell me how you decide a semaphore is not going to move? I've had some mixed result with this, lost as much as gained in moving semaphore situations. I use the H1 & M15 and only enter when the semaphores are in agreement for direction and the M15 price is as close as possible to the ...

Hey Patch I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - MDT (Currently GMT - 6). I'm all for lots of work and reading, I know it's the only way, and I do it as much as I can. But certainly, when using a system you didn't author yourself it's great to get as much of a head start as you can from thought with exp...

Moving Semafors

I'm new to this trading system, and have read as much as I've had time to. Still, I have some fundamental questions that I would greatly appreciate help with from the Author or someone with lots of experience using the system. Last night I did two trades E/U and U/J. In both cases, the H1 chart had ...
