Re: Libertarians take on trading

After being up about 150 pips it spooked me to dump it at +95 pips....ugh! Better than zero. How are you going to make pips if you don't risk pips? :) Oh ya, I reversed just about where I bailed and its up 70 so far. Maybe this is the direction for a few hundred pips. Edit: bailed again at 50

I was trying to test myself on bigger trades. It took 3 days of watching it and sitting on my hands. It felt like for...

Re: Libertarians take on trading

Let's say that you are trading for $10/line and you make 2.5 lines. Your size is now 10(10.5/8) or $13/line with 8.076 lines. If you lose 2 lines then your size is 13(6.076/7) or $11/line with 7.180 lines (you're down about $1) If you win 2.5 lines then your size is 13(10.576/8) or $17/line with 8....

I saw the 1hr MOMO and I thought that was just running the stops just under the level. Then zoom. Just goes to ...

Re: Libertarians take on trading

These are the recent minimum spreads as recorded by OANDA. USDZAR_HISTORY.pngTRYJPY_HISTORY.png Ended up looking at the USDTRY. It had about a 5 pip spread but moves about 3x the GBPJPY. I think the margin is really low also. It could be my new love  Were you looking at the average spread? R...

Another loss :x I’m back in the 95% The problem is that I can’t see my mistake. 4395EBAD-42B3-4CAD-B2DE-2431DD3ECECC.png I made a similar mistake, but do everything in your power not to let it get in your head. Like MO said, your goal should be to continuously apply your principles. Your not going ...
