"Let the price RANGE 100 - 200 pips, THEN look for the reversal... " Can someone help me understanding the logic of looking at range and how to use it please? Thanks. If you're a green rat, if price is BELOW the weekly open, let price move at least 100pips BELOW the weekly open before get...

What is the logic behind ignoring the wicks of the candles as how the daily range is factored?

Yet another question on the 'Take what you can" part? I know the feeling. What I do is protect ME from ME. AT +5 pips, I will be ready to bail at +3 if price pulls back. At +10 pips, I will enter a trailing stop of 4 or 5 pips. At +15, I will cancel the trailing stop and enter a hard stop at +...

forrestang What do you think of taking 3 or 5 or 9 or 10 pips profit. I'd rather take 3 pips on 100 contracts, than 100 pips on one contract. Less time in the post 9/11 market. Patch Counting Pips That is a reasonable suggestion. Just depends on wether you can pick enough trades that will have a hi...

I know the problem

The problem I don't think is following the system and always turning left? I think the problem is the last step of the process: "Take profit if/when you can." This is a bit ambiguous. Wouldn't a rat have this problem too? Seems like a rat would jump on the first piece of cheese, like 1 pip...

Is there anything that plots the Highs and Lows of EACH DAY?

That would show the highs and lows of each day as you look back over several days, that move and adjust with price?

How many times per day do you guys trade the Rat?

Once hourly, anytime you get within 20pips of the D1 Low?

TRO: Are you trading all 12 of the pairs on the Rat Reverse Daily?

How do you get the "_MP_HLC_PIPS.mq4" indicator to reflect only the D1 values as opposed to the current chart you're looking at?

-----EDIT-----
I got it, 'myperiod' set to 1440.

How many bars must pass before a Semafor becomes static?

This is a general question, about how long before a semafor becomes static and no longer moves?

If looking at an H1 Level 3 Semafor, is it static when that bar closes? Or does it take one more bar?

Thanks,
Forrest
