Good info again guys, much appreciated. The secret society analogy is completely understandable, being a successful modern day alchemist is an aspirational job :)

The hardest way to make an easy living. lol

Thanks for the response TRO, your work with Michal is much appreciated. The main reason behind the request was that I might want to look at markets you haven't researched e.g. I've seen you post that you don't trade futures so if I wanted to look at the Buy Zone on the mini dow then I've not seen an...

To clarify, what I'm really looking for is the logic behind them i.e. so that I could calculate (manually or otherwise) and reach the same conclusions as TRO, Michal, Ed, Craig et al on optimal settings for the Buy Zone i.e. +/-0.0003-4 on Forex and +/-11 ticks on ER2 (from memory). Does this make s...

Use the SMAA statistics to determine statistically sound settings. Edward Hey guys, quoting from a while back in this thread. Does SMAA statistics exist only for Tradestation? I've had a search around but don't see anything. Is there a manual way to run these? Currently using NinjaTrader. If no opt...

Hi Wayne,

Should the BuyZone not reset on the hour? Is it intentional that your code draws lines from 5 minutes past ... or have I missed something?

Regards,
Al

Thanks again, guess I'm prone to these bouts of optimism that it will be easy  I think once I'm up and running with all the functionality of NT I'm happy to put in the hours testing. It's just the initial steps (as with everything in life) that are more challenging. Having said that, I've only ...
